If Venus is remembered as the goddess of love and beauty, it does not mean that sorrow, chaos, or loss ceased to exist after her arrival.
This piece began as a reflection on The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli, but slowly evolved into something more personal.
The sea, often portrayed as a sacred place of birth and purity, also holds endless mystery beneath its surfaceโbeautiful, yet never fully calm.
Through this work, I wanted to reimagine classical beauty through the emotional noise, distraction, and shifting values of the modern world.
A reflection not only about the birth of beauty,
but about what happens after it arrives.
