This is the first token of the inaugural Rio Art Residency, containing 20 unique creations by residency artists. The Rio Art Residency, a week-long artists’ residency in Rio de Janeiro in June 2024, was the first official event of the Selkie Collection. It brought together 19 established and emerging contemporary artists from Brazil, the United States, Argentina, Colombia, Turkey and the Dominican Republic. Other creations from the residency will feature in a limited edition drop in partnership with Transient Labs and 452b. The Base drop will use Transient’s ERC-7160 token standard, allowing all creations to be featured in the same token.
