She grew up hearing that femininity meant loving shopping, flowers, and all the “girly” things that looked good on paper — but none of that ever defined her. She found her own expression of womanhood in comfort, coziness, opulence, travel, fine dining, and seeing the world in ways that made her feel awake and alive. For the artist, femininity is presence, self-knowing, and the quiet confidence of loving who she is without bending to anyone else’s expectations. “Kokoshka” is her declaration that her womanhood is self-authored, embodied, and entirely her own.
