Isabelle is a rescue human. Felix found her at the local animal shelter and took her home. He wasn't sure at first whether he had made a mistake. She was totally feral and out of control. But he was able to quickly train her to open cans of tuna fish and to clean out the litter box so Felix decided to keep her. Forever.
