Chess
Chess is one of the oldest and most popular board games in the world, originating in ancient India about 1,500 years ago. It is played by two players on an 8x8 board with 16 pieces for each player (including the king, queen, rook, bishop, knight, and pawn).
Today, chess is played at a professional level, has world champions, and has even been featured in the Olympiads as a mental sport. Playing chess is not only fun, but it also greatly improves analytical, memory, and decision-making skills.
