Uprising.Art

Like many great movements, Uprising.Art began with frustration. Batsoupyum (aka Bats, aka BSY) grew tired of watching crypto artists struggle to gain visibility. This was not because the work lacked originality or vision, but because the system often narrows what gets seen, discussed, and collected. Great art exists across the entire space, yet attention tends to circulate within the same lanes. For a long time he believed he did not have the time or resources to do enough to change that. But doing something, even if it is not enough, is better than doing nothing. So he decided to collect out loud. In 2026, Bats committed $100k of his own funds to acquire and donate crypto art that deserves to be seen. He brought Lanett on as Managing Director to help identify the works that move us and to share why they matter.
