Original Oil on Canvas This was once a family-owned general store that I was commissioned to paint before it was torn down. The family had wonderful memories of this place with several generations growing up on the property. The rugged wood building was amazing having so much character with its seasoned and broken boards. Though we are broken and damaged, God does not toss us aside. Instead, He looks at us as something of beauty and value to be restored. Psalm 85:6 Will you restore our lives again so that your people may rejoice in you? God, thank You for giving me new life and a new purpose. Take what was damaged in me and make it whole, for Your glory.
