Dreams were selected as a finalist art piece in Claire Silver's "Back to school" ai contest – June 2024 Concept: I have taken AI back to my early school era to let it learn from those times while learning by myself at the same time. The resulting open-ended short movie serves as the art piece itself while having the whole process explained in itself. Process: This my most intimate piece yet – I went 30 years back to the past and explored my old childhood paintings and drawings, digitized them and feed them to AI to let it learn on them – sending it back to school. Student once become a mentor now – while being a student and explorer on another level at the same moment. This is my first Ai video artwork, first audio, first voiceover, first runway gen, first video edit... I have explored many to settle on the final workflow listed below and I have enjoyed the whole process. The resulting video artwork carries my childhood artist DNA hardcoded in itself telling my story before and now at the same time. Lines getting blurred between human and robot.
