"Texture" Day #20/366 Dlawr: Photo a Day 2024 This year is 2 years of knowing my friend Chloe. When I came to Paris in 2021, I came by myself. I wanted to get away and experience something new in a way I hadn't before. I also wanted to photograph someone while in town. So, I started cold messaging models on Instagram and Chloe responded. It was super cold outside so we ended up shooting in my Airbnb. After, Chloe sat down on the couch and started talking to me. I could tell that she wanted to get to know me and like most shoots, it wasn't going to end at photos. So we sat and talked about everything we could. It was magic. And when she left we both messaged and said "I feel like we've known each other forever". We've visited each other multiple times since. And this past week me and Julia got to spend a whole week with her. When we got back to Paris tonight we said bye. And even though we are going to see each other again in a couple of days I had the thought, "Man, I feel like I lose a part of myself every time I leave you." And I am convinced this is one of the holiest and best feelings a human can feel. This photo is called "Textures" and I think it embodies the feelings I feel well. I hope in this life everyone can experience this feeling. It's a good one. Au Revoir!
