"Cat's Tats"⁠ ⁠ Dlawr: Photo A Day Day 185/366 -----⁠ I saw my friend Cat today. We caught up and I said "Would you like to put a cone on your head for my "Photo of the day?" ⁠ ⁠ I had two realizations; 1. I miss taking portraits.⁠ ⁠ I mean, I take them regularly and am a portrait photographer, but I miss when it was my day-in and day-out thing. ⁠ ⁠ My whole goal is to make authentic images. I want to work with people who don't take themselves too seriously and really, truly are okay with being in their own skin.⁠ ⁠ 2nd realization: friendship and play are so sweet. But both can be hard to carve out time for, but we need them. We need friends who ask "How are you?" and say "let's get something on the calendar" and truly follow through. ⁠ ⁠ Today me and Cat did exactly that and my heart feels happy. ⁠ ⁠ Today is day 185- We are halfway through the year. ⁠ ⁠
