Day 180/366 "I Bet on Me" A mentor of mine once said “Everything you have in your life you have created.”

 “Do you really believe that?" I asked.

 “I do.”

 I never forgot that conversation. I didn’t know what it meant or fully believe it until tonight. I was sitting on my couch watching “The Bear”. I looked up and saw our house. I saw my cat and the dishes and the random odds and ends. I saw what wasn’t perfect, but what was real and beautiful. 

 I thought about my studio and my friends and I said to myself “I did that.” 

 I felt joy and the credit I’ve never given myself until today. 

I thought about the snoop Dogg speech where he says 
 “I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for having no days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting. I wanna thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I want to thank me for just being me at all times.”

 I thought about this and I smiled. I just want to thank myself for all the hard work it took to get here today. Its only the beginning, but damn I am proud.
