"The Self" Day #117/366 Dlawr: Photo a Day 2024 I tripped and ate shit yesterday. I got a scrape, but more than anything my ego was hurt. I didn't like that I fell. I didn't like that I couldn't pay attention enough to see the giant hole in the parking lot I was jogging through. I still ran 6.5 miles after the incident. Me and my friend Jon both did and I felt good that I knew regardless of a little bit of pain I could keep going. Tomorrow I have 12 miles on the docket. Here's to not getting injured. This photo is a self-portrait of sorts. May we be okay with a bruised ego and the occasional hurt hands. It's proof we are human after all.
