WHAT WE LET FLY
She stands quietly in the blue, her thoughts scattered like a flock of birds taking flight.
Some things remain too long within us — memories we revisit, words we never speak, feelings we cannot quite name. And sometimes, without knowing exactly when, we begin to let them go.
The little white birds drift across her face, carrying fragments of everything she no longer needs to hold.
Yet she does not chase them. She simply watches as they disappear into the distance.
Perhaps letting go is not about forgetting. Perhaps it is learning that not everything we carry is meant to stay.
Some things are meant to leave us, so we can finally feel lighter.
