This work humorously reinterprets one of the most iconic training scenes of the Shōnen manga age, Naruto learning the sacred art of summoning under the guidance of Jiraiya and the elder toad. In this Pepe-infused remake, the solemnity of apprenticeship becomes playful mythology: the grand toad is transformed into a wide-eyed, cartoonish Pepe-creature, while the mentor above retains the gravitas of the original master. The large parchment scroll, the mountainous setting, and the cinematic composition all echo Kishimoto’s visual grammar, clean linework, dramatic scale contrast, and the ritualistic solemnity of ninja pedagogy. By merging Pepe’s absurdist visual language with the heroic tropes of late-90s/early-2000s Shōnen culture, the piece situates itself within a hybrid “mythos of training”, where comedy, initiation, and destiny converge in a single tableau.
