Postdated

A postdated check is written today and can’t be cashed until a date that hasn’t come yet. These are memories that work the same way. Postdated is a collection of scenes recovered from worn VHS tapes and played back on old CRT screens: rain on a café window, a late shift, a quiet room after midnight. The picture flickers and the tracking slips. Everything about them says long ago. Except the timestamp. Every tape is dated in the future. These are memories made in advance, nostalgia for days nobody has lived yet. They’re a reminder that every ordinary moment ahead will one day be something we miss. Each piece is a 1/1: one date, one endless loop, one original lofi soundtrack. Hold onto it. It’s not valid until then. By Henlo
