Blue Samsara

"Blue Samsara" explores the eternal, cyclical nature of existence, desire, and the dissolution of the self. In this piece, individual identities melt into a collective blue torrent, trapped within the rigid geometry of cosmic laws. The central red vortex acts as the anchor of attachment, pulling the tangled souls through the endless loop of life, death, and rebirth. It is a visual meditation on the struggle to break free from the matrix of existence, where boundaries blur, and the line between suffering and transcendence becomes one. Through a striking juxtaposition of organic and geometric elements, the artwork captures the psychological friction of being human. The fluid, melting faces and reaching hands represent the chaotic, desperate nature of human ego and attachment (Upadana). They are bound together, unable to untangle themselves from the collective consciousness. Yet, contrastingly, they are superimposed against a cold, calculating grid and precise concentric circles—a visual manifestation of Karma and the inescapable laws of the universe that dictate our reality. The dominant blue hue serves a dual purpose: it evokes a sense of deep, existential melancholy (Dukkha), while simultaneously hinting at the vast, transcendental space where liberation is possible. A skull witnesses the cycle from the periphery, while a feathered wing hints at the fleeting desire for spiritual ascension. Ultimately, "Blue Samsara" asks the viewer to confront their own place within this cosmic machinery. It is not merely a depiction of entrapment, but a profound visual inquiry into what remains of us when the illusion of individuality completely dissolves.
