Feeling alien. Not myself. Skin and flesh. Sloth or elf. - About the Collection: "Foreign Body" is a series of ten works derived from a single central composition, each varied in colour and detail. The collection explores the discomfort of inhabiting a body that no longer feels like your own, whether the cause is trauma, illness, or the disorienting process of healing. In that in-between state, the body works to recalibrate, to find its edges again. Each piece, built through collage and compositing, captures a different facet of that experience, as suggested by individual titles.
