The Pampas

A collection inspired exclusively by my homeland, my village, and my landscape. It draws its inspiration from the plains, the countryside, the silence, the emptiness, and the middle of nowhere. This geographical region is known as ‘La Pampa.’ Pampa comes from the native Quechua language and means plain, vast expanse, or boundless space. Historically, the term “pampas” referred to the nomadic indigenous peoples who inhabited the central plains, linked to gaucho culture. This series of twelve pieces is a gift to myself, my homeland, and my family. V. Vidal Herrera, 31/03/2026
