Dont Fear The Dark Days

Don’t Fear the Dark Days is a series of visual notes on unease. The project draws the viewer into an uncomfortable emotional landscape far beyond common clichés, challenging the habit of looking away when faced with uncomfortable truths. It is the result of years of intuitive observation—fragments of a reality that often exists outside the spotlight. Yet, the series deliberately distances itself from traditional documentary photography: rather than merely recording the world, the works utilize deliberate, precise framing to rip what is seen from its original context. Through this visual isolation, a new psychological layer emerges, emotionally charging and subtly alienating everyday scenes. Defined by harsh contrasts and an uncompromising visual language, these works capture moments of isolation, underlying threat, or societal fractures. It is not a gaze rooted in fear, but a demand for a clear, raw perspective on the entirety of our existence. An ongoing project that forces the viewer to look right where it hurts.
