Far from the sea, surrounded by asphalt, noise, and passing cars, a seagull walks alone through a world that was never meant to be its home. When I captured this moment, it couldn't fly. Its wings could not carry it back to the places where it belonged, so it simply kept walking, slowly trying to cross the road while the city continued moving around it. There was no open shore beneath its feet, no waves nearby, no horizon to disappear into. Only concrete, painted lines, engines, and the long shadow of a bird far away from its own world. Watching it made the city suddenly feel much larger. Perhaps loneliness is not always about having no one around you. Sometimes it is about being surrounded by an entire world and still feeling that you do not belong there. For a brief moment, in the middle of all that noise, it felt like the loneliest soul in the world...
