She Made a Home Out of Art
There are rooms
that simply hold people.
And then there are rooms
that remember them.
This is where she sits
surrounded by colours, faces, paintings and unfinished stories.
Perhaps the world outside
has always asked her to become something.
A woman.
A daughter.
A dreamer.
A survivor.
But in this room,
she doesn’t have to explain herself.
She can simply create.
Every painting on the wall
is a piece of someone.
Every mark is evidence
that somebody once felt deeply enough
to leave something behind.
And maybe that’s what art really is
A way of saying,
“I was here.”
A way of turning loneliness into colour,
memory into form,
and silence into something
the world can finally see.
She didn’t just find a room to work in.
She found a place
where her soul could breathe.
