Between Concealment & Disclosure
What is less a journey from darkness into light but rather the brief, uncertain act of moving between them.
Heidegger would have us believe it is an unconcealing—a fleeting opening in which something comes into presence, while something else remains hidden.
That’s the space the cyclist inhabits
He is not outside this tension and merely observing it ... instead he is thrown into it, already moving, already becoming.
Perhaps this is what it means to exist: not to arrive at some final illumination, but to move through the clearing where things briefly reveal themselves.
Then the light passes ... and we continue.
