Stasis V - Oscilla draws inspiration from the standing wave phenomena of New Zealand’s Cook Strait, renowned for its volatile beauty and treacherous waters. Using computer simulation and hyper-realistic containment rendering, the work re-contextualizes the strait’s wave patterns, capturing the energy and oscillation between nature’s power and reflectivity.
