Today, May 15, is my birthday, and instead of asking for something, I wanted to give back to all of you here with me, the ones reading my words, looking at my photographs, walking close to me on this journey. So this is my gift, my last still life photography, cherries in an old silver cup on a wooden table, morning light coming in soft from a window, and nothing added after. You hold a cherry in your hand, and you are five years old again, the summer is long, and the world is still kind. Try this magic! Photography is a slow art for me, it asks for patience, for attention, for one second caught before it goes away forever. So today, this is from me to whoever wants to keep it, a piece of my archive, a quiet morning, a bowl of cherries, the everyday poetry I keep chasing through the lens. Thank you for being here, for the eyes, for the silence, for the love that comes to me.
