Summer Waves was completed in July 2026 and released in August 2026 in collaboration with Iconic. The work brings together a visual language A-Mashiro has developed over more than two decades: geometric forms, lines, color, traditional Japanese patterns, and imagery drawn from nature. In Summer Waves, the wave motif moves beyond the geometric structures of his earlier work and flows freely across the composition, marking a new development in his visual language. The work is an edition of 25, with each digital artwork paired with a corresponding 24 × 36 inch (61 × 91.4 cm) physical print produced in Tokyo with 360°GRAPHICS. The print combines giclée and silkscreen on Kakita 300, Japanese Silkscreen Printmaking Paper, creating a physical surface and silver wave pattern that cannot be experienced on a screen. One work, two different encounters.
