A variety of traditional materials and hand-finished techniques were applied to transform the canvas into a richly textured, one-of-a-kind artwork: * The background has been enhanced with texture mediums and natural sea sand, creating a tactile, dimensional surface. * The flower adorning the girl’s head was carefully crafted using velvet powder, adding softness and depth. * Yarn has been incorporated as a symbolic connection between the two souls represented in the artwork. * The white hair has been highlighted with glitter and finished with a glossy varnish to create luminosity and movement. * The butterfly has been embellished with acrylic paint and decorative crystals for additional texture and visual interest. * The figures’ bodies have been delicately shaded by hand using pastel. * The origami elements have been hand-shaded with a 6B pencil to enhance depth and realism. * The lips have been sculpted and emphasized using glitter and oil paint, creating a raised, expressive finish. * Facial details and final refinements have been added by hand using fine art markers.
