You can't climb a mountain without taking a first step. 'Ascension I' is an experimental interactive artwork created using Transient Labs' Dynamic Art Engine. Comprising of almost a dozen hand-painted layers and simulated depth of field, this piece responds to vertical mouse or touch input - allowing the viewer to modify the focus of the lens blur and engage with the miniaturising 'tilt shift' effect.
