Her death was covered by prominent mainstream media like BBC, Times of India, The Print, The Telegraph, India Today, NDTV and more Arrowhead became internet famous when a video captured her fearlessly hunting crocodiles near the lake. It was her extraordinary hunting prowess that truly set her apart. She was famously known as the 'Crocodile-Hunting Tigress', a testament to her audacious nature and unique hunting skills that defied conventional tiger behavior. She wasn’t just a huntress, she was a symbol of female dominance in the wild, often holding her ground in confrontations. She quickly rose to prominence, establishing her dominion over zones 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Ranthambore. She carried bloodline of Ranthambhore. She raised cubs that helped repopulate parts of Ranthambhore and other tiger reserves. Strengthened gene pools and rewrote conservation. In early 2025, Arrowhead's health started declining. She was diagnosed with a tumor and was visibly weakened (But she couldn't be treated by forest medical team as she had 2 litters) Her final days were marked by a heartbreaking video capturing her last walk, which soon went viral. Just hours before her death, her cubs were tranquilized and relocated, marking a full-circle moment in her life. Arrowhead wasn't just a tiger, she was an ambassador of Indian wildlife conservation. Her legacy contributes immensely to wildlife tourism in India, bringing thousands of visitors to Ranthambore. She inspired stories, documentaries, social media trends, and even school projects about tiger conservation. Her reign helped highlight the critical need to protect India's endangered tigers.
