A wall of 144 Rubik's cubes turns row by row, column by column, out of a checkerboard into a mosaic and back again in four quarter-turns each way. Light circles the wall twice, catching stickers as they tilt; a ripple rolls every cube in place from the centre out. Whatever the turns scramble, they return: nothing is lost, only moved.
