whoever, whatever

Whoever, Whatever explores the quiet aftermath of letting someone go. Not the moment of departure itself, but the slow acceptance that follows, the realization that some people become memories long before they become strangers. the portrait dissolves beneath layered strokes of crimson, amber, and gold, allowing emotion to overpower identity. warm colors, often associated with comfort and intimacy, are deliberately pushed into tension, transforming affection into something heavier: grief, longing, and eventually, acceptance. the obscured face reflects the way loss reshapes us, blurring the certainty of who we were before it happened. rather than searching for closure, the work embraces uncertainty. it accepts that not every ending arrives with answers, and not every absence can be explained. sometimes the only thing left to do is carry what remains with quiet dignity. whoever you became. whatever we were.
