Without Footsteps
Hidden in the greenery of Tskaltubo lies Sanatorium Imereti, a forgotten jewel of the late Stalin era. Built in 1961 by architects Alexi-Meskhishvili and Janelidze, it captivates not with sheer mass, but with elegance. Its centerpiece is a rotunda, a circular concert hall with a dome supported by delicate columns. Once, spa guests listened to music here; today, only the wind conducts. The walls are crumbling, but the architecture's perfect symmetry defies decay. A final waltz of stone and dust.
