I’ve been drawing pathways and portals in my sketchbook for about two years; almost as if trying to map a feeling more than a place. This felt like a familiar moment where the closer you get to what you’re chasing, the more it threatens to erase you. Lately I’ve been thinking that the portal isn’t the end of the path.
