We spend so much of our lives inside things we cannot fully control. Time People. Places. Systems. Chance. Even the worlds we carry inside ourselves. They move us, change us, reduce us, hold us, and sometimes make us wonder how much of our lives ever really belonged to us. being human is partly learning how small we can feel in the presence of everything larger than us. Still, I do not think small is all we are.
