A body appears to rise through the darkness while holding a string attached to a small red object or balloon. Gravity is interrupted and escape assumes a vertical, almost childlike or spiritual direction. The balloon may represent the possibility of liberation, but also an extremely fragile bond: the image balances evasion, vulnerability, and desire.
