This piece is born from a personal unrest, intertwined with the greater human condition. Hunger is no fleeting misfortune; it has become a recurring rhythm, a shadow cast across years and decades. In a universe vast and abundant, humanity still wrestles with the conflict of survival, bound by the weight of inequality, war, instability, and the ever-shifting balance of nature. Through this work, I offer a reflective medium—an echo of the forces that sustain this relentless cycle. Hunger is not merely the absence of food; it is the fracture of a system, a silent cry within both society and the self. I evoke the image of the wolf, embodying the duality of protection and predation, echoing Thomas Hobbes' words: "Homo homini lupus"—Man is a wolf to his fellow man.
