The chains bound to our feet are like roots that once delved deep into the earth, forming their bonds.
And now, the ax-wielders have come to sever these roots.
A sense of vulnerability, entrapment, helplessness, staying, and letting go lingers.
In the midst of it all, being a woman is a crime in itself.
Yet, despite all these chains and sufferings, despite the blood flowing through my veins,
I am human.
