Mr Plantae-RearDen
Rearden is a genetic anomaly made by Professor Gema from the race of Mr. Plantae, a new botanical civilization that inherited the post-extinction earth due to the war of logic and greed. Although he was placed under the ranks of the notoriously rigid, strong, and disciplined Choleris Faction, Rearden refused to be a sterile beating machine. Thanks to the human memory that was grafted into his head, he had an obsession that was considered taboo and a waste of time by his colony: becoming an Aesthetic Scavenger (art artifact hunter). While other plants focus on defense efficiency and photosynthesis, Rearden's sacred task is to sneak into the collapse-prone and radioactive Dead Zone to save the remains of canvas paintings, marble statues, and old vinyl records.
Physical Appearance & Aesthetic Contradiction
Rearden is designed with a very contrasting and satirical appearance. His body size is very small—only half the size of a normal human, with skin in the form of neon pink fibers that are very eye-catching. Visual irony often occurs when this cute little hero is seen struggling to drag a giant painting frame that is twice the size of his body or climb the ruins to secure human relics.
Biological Composition & Strength (Character Formula)
Behind his adorable appearance, biologically Rearden is a very deadly armored "mini tank":
40% Mitragyna speciosa Fiber (Borneo Island's Special Leaves, Herbs used as a natural Analgesics): Compose most of the body, functions to cut off the transmission of pain to the brain. This makes it a life shield that is immune to concrete debris. Its small size is actually advantageous because it makes it difficult to shoot by the enemy.
30% Vitis vinifera Extract (Wine): Gives him the molecular flexibility to jump very nimbly, while triggering his melancholy, poetic psychological side, and rejects historical amnesia.
20% Bovine Lipid & Casein Emulsion (Wild Mutation): His body gum synthesizes warm pure cow's milk. When it comes out, this white blood fluid is able to heal physical wounds as well as relieve psychological trauma and the aggression of the surrounding creatures.
10% Folase of Laurus nobilis Leaf (Galam Tree): Grows on the shoulder and serves as a biosensor of human war-remnant radiation as he explores the Dead Zone.
Main Conflict
For Rearden, the giant artifacts he collected are the key to dissecting the contents of the human mind. He was hit by a profound philosophical question: How is it possible that a race capable of creating such beautiful symphonies and art, at the same time has the logical capacity to burn their own planet? When a new faction moves to level the last Dead Zone that houses the largest art gallery, the Koleris Faction refuses to help for the sake of colony efficiency. Driven by the soul of his Vitis vinifera who appreciates history, Rearden chooses to advance alone to the front line. In the middle of a magnificent gallery that collapsed, he used the power of his Kratom fibers to hold a giant pillar to protect the human marble statue. As his small body cracked and the scent of his warm milk spread to ease the enemy's anger, Rearden proved his greatest philosophy: that a true hero was not measured by the height of his body, but by the amount of sense he protected so that the new civilization would not repeat the same historical mistakes.
