Homo Photographicus is a humorous collection about the modern tourist and the strange rituals of travel: famous landmarks, obligatory poses, endless photographs, selfie sticks, souvenirs, and the eternal need to prove, "I was here." The cities change. The monuments change. The tourist remains remarkably consistent. Each work places the same human ritual in a different iconic location, turning travel photography into a kind of contemporary anthropology. Because sometimes we don't travel to see a place. We travel to have a picture proving that we saw it.
