The roof in one of the rooms of my brother's house had collapsed. Judging by the progression of the rotting floor and growth of mold on the walls this was not a recent event. My brother had obviously given up long before anyone else realized it. In searching for answers I found myself hunting for a turning point, a cause, a final straw. The realization though, much harder to accept, is that the final straw doesn't matter as much as the pile it rests on top of. 6000x4000
