生涯 means a lifetime. It opens with this piece, painted on Ethereum's eleventh birthday: the one day of the year the work itself moves. A ridgeline and a price chart are the same object: height over time. Every mountain range here is one year of Ethereum's life, birthday to birthday, its silhouette drawn from that year's real daily closes and roughened until it reads as rock, not as a chart. The oldest year stands deepest in the haze. Twelve ranges stand in this picture. The twelfth was hours old when it was painted, its raw edge the present day, diving into the water where tomorrow has not happened. The seed is the hash of Ethereum block 25,644,500, named publicly on the morning of 30 July 2026, before the chain had written it. No one could know it early and no one could choose it: not a collector, not a market, not us. The picture could not be shopped for or steered. It could only be received. What it drew: a ringed sun over strata, the near ridges bleached white, a broken column of light running down the water. The palette is Signal, which is ink, bone and the house yellow. The chroma is Monochrome, which is ink on paper and nothing else, so the yellow is absent entirely. The same seed was re-rendered at print scale for a 190 × 142.5 cm direct print on brushed aluminium, where white is never printed. Almost all of the light in this picture is bare metal, not ink. The living collection follows. Every July 30 a new range rises, until 2045. The genesis does not grow: it is the origin artifact, static by design, showing the work on the day it first moved.
