Have you ever imagined a world where nature has a soul, where tiny spirits wander among the trees, and where humans and the forest exist in perfect harmony? The inspiration for this piece came from Princess Mononoke and its mysterious little forest spirits, the Kodama (木霊). Ever since I first encountered them, something about their quiet presence and magical connection to nature has stayed with me. They made me wonder what it would feel like to belong to a world where every tree holds a story, every flower carries a little magic, and the forest is more than just a place — it's a living soul. I imagined myself living in that world, surrounded by flowers, ancient trees, and tiny forest spirits. And if I could choose my place in it, I would be its guardian — someone who listens to the whispers of nature, protects its hidden wonders, and lives in harmony with every living thing. Somewhere Between Flowers and Dreams is my little window into that dreamlike world. A place where imagination takes over, where the boundaries between humans and nature fade away, and where a little magic can be found in the quietest corners. Perhaps this world exists only in our dreams. But maybe, if we learn to look a little closer, we can still find some of its magic in the world around us.
