In the silent depths of the night she has mastered the art of transforming sorrow into beauty. Inspired by the mystical verses of the Persian poet Hafez (Ghazal 187) this artwork tells the story of Blooming in the Dark. Here tears do not fall to the ground instead under the celestial glow of the moon they are transmuted into golden lotuses. Rather than holding onto grief she cradles a flower that has bloomed from her own heart. Her gesture is a message to the world: that even in the darkest nights through longing and resilience one can sprout anew and reach for the divine light.
