Everything in the Desert Southwest is designed to burn, scratch or poke. It is an unforgiving environment but if you can make it through the harsh summers you get to experience one of the most serene places on earth. The air is crisp and clear. The sounds are gentle and vivid. It is a magical place, but you have to look deep to see it.
