Châteaux
Timeless
When researching for our France trip, I came across photos online of this château, and I knew it was one that I wanted to photograph for myself. The architecture was so unique compared to anything I had seen in North America. Notably, I liked the stone trim work that enclosed the bricks, the steep slant of the roofline, and the clock tower which sits front and center. This piece is not only named for the clock, which is frozen in time, but also for the building itself. We had seen another building while we were in France, that had the exact same architecture, except the roof had caved in due to water damage. It was a shell of a place, compared to this lovely château, which leads me to believe it is being looked after, and because of this, it has remained beautiful and timeless for over 100 years.
