A Van Full of Nowhere
The neon glow spills onto their faces,
Echoes of roads that loop forever,
Chasing their own shadows.
Sunglasses worn at midnight,
Laughter cracked like a broken screen,
And hands raised, unsure of surrender
Or a joke only the rearview knows.
Here they are,
A procession of ghosts in a borrowed machine,
With nothing but silence
And the hum of the engine to guide them.
