Electric Deer Hunter
The headlights flicker,
A pulse in the frost-bitten haze,
Where man and machine dissolve into shadow.
Neon antlers pierce the mist,
Like a god forgotten in traffic,
Half hunter, half hunted.
Golden eyes burn—
A warning, a promise,
The forest now lives on asphalt veins.
And through the wheel,
A silent grip holds steady,
Driving toward nowhere,
Glowing.
