Flame and Frost
The road burns cold,
Snowmen march—silent effigies of cheer,
Their heads ablaze with forgotten flames,
Eyes hollowed by years of frost and fire.
The car drifts forward,
Its paint chipped, memories fading,
Between the rows of winter ghosts,
Where laughter once echoed,
And now—
Only smoke remains.
