Timeless Series

Crowned by Water

His antlers rise above the lake like weathered branches, larger than any other bull elk in the park, a crown shaped by age, battle, and season. Even as he swims, his presence towers. His kind have moved through this land for ages, long before the lake carried names. When his bugle cuts the air, even the mountains stand in awe. His call is ancient, purposeful, drawn from ages of instinct. It is a summons, a challenge, a promise. Water parts, as he moves steadily toward the far shore. There is no hesitation. During the rut, his world narrows to a single truth: to pursue, to endure, to answer the pull written into his lineage.
