Imprint.3
Imprint is one of the twelve triptychs in Whispers of Earth. It is a triptych of three unique 1/1 works, created to exist individually while forming a single, unified piece.
Along the edge of the water, the sky leaves its reflection on the wet sand, transforming the earth into soft fields of blue, muted grays, and browns. Ripples, channels, and shifting water create fleeting marks that exist only until the next tide reshapes them. Stripped of horizon and scale, the three photographs hover between landscape and abstraction, a temporary impression of sky upon earth.
Whispers of Earth is a collection of twelve photographic triptychs exploring the quiet details of the American West. Rather than focusing on grand landscapes, the work turns toward what is easily overlooked: trees disappearing into fog, shifting patterns in sand, mineral color, water, texture, light, and the subtle marks left by wind and time.
Each triptych is composed of three unique 1/1 photographs. Every image stands on its own, yet together the three form a larger visual conversation, one rooted in stillness, repetition, contrast, and connection.
The collection is an invitation to look more slowly. To move beyond the obvious and notice the smaller stories held within a landscape: the temporary, the fragile, and the elemental.
