Remain is one of the twelve triptychs in Whispers of Earth. It is a triptych of three unique 1/1 works, created to exist individually while forming a single, unified piece. Bare trees rise from a landscape transformed by Yellowstone's thermal waters, their lives ended while their forms remain. Against the softness of winter, the standing trunks become something unexpected, not simply evidence of loss, but a quiet beauty shaped by change. Movement blurs the boundaries between snow, shadow, and tree, leaving only their essential forms behind.
